Rebecca School Wins Award for Real Estate Development in Westchester County



Rebecca School in New York was recently recognized by the Westchester County chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) for bringing business to the community.
Tina McCourt, Rebecca School Executive Director, accepted the award on behalf of the school during BOMA’s annual Hall of Honor Awards Dinner.
The new campus for Rebecca School, which will be located in Mount Vernon on Bradford Road, was highlighted during the Hall of Honor dinner, which is “A tribute to those who support and encourage the economic growth of Westchester County.”
The creative renovations to turn the former office building into a new campus for the Rebecca School was also highlighted in the event program. The 57,000 square foot facility will have the capacity to serve more than 100 students, with 14 classrooms, 2 rooftop terraces for secure outdoor play and gardens, a library, gymnasium, sensory rooms and more.
“Rebecca School was recognized for bringing jobs and money into the county, and adding to the community,” Tina said. “It was a great way to get introduced to the organization and highlight the services we provide for children who are underserved.”
